Happy New Year!

I cannot believe that another year has flown by!  2017, ready or not, here we come!  My goals this year include more happy, more quality time spent together as a family, completing some home projects, more Mommy and Daddy dates, more patience with the kids, simplifying, organizing, and hopefully planning a trip to Disney World for either this year or next year!

On New Years Eve we took the kids to Epic Air, a trampoline park!  It was just what they needed to get some energy out and tire them out for an early bedtime! I even got in some jumping!
Then we spent the evening at Pops and Nanas!  The kids had fun with their King Julian Countdown!  We had them ring in the New Year at 8:15pm!  Lisa and I could see that they were all starting to get tired!  Caleb was so excited to throw his homemade confetti!  I love this tradition that I've carried down from my childhood!

My Dad would never buy us confetti to throw on NYE.  Why would he spend money for us to make a mess?!  As a result, Natalie and I would spend all day hole punching construction paper to make our own confetti!  Instead of a hole puncher, Caleb uses scissors and cuts his construction paper into squares!  I love this tradition because he gets so excited to make his own confetti and then throw it!  I learned that bigger squares of construction paper still look pretty being thrown, but are a lot easier to clean up than little hole punched paper!

Teaching Scarlett how to make confetti angels!
Our kiddos were asleep by 9:15!!  That never happens when the cousins are together!  I was so excited to play games and ring in the New Year with our family!
Being silly with Ski!
