Living Stations of the Cross

I love how almost every year there seems to be a tradition.  In 7th grade, the class puts on a demonstration of the stations of the cross.  Caleb was chosen to be a guard.

School Spelling Bee ~ Mila

I am so proud of both of our kids and their spelling talents! There is a school wide spelling bee for 5th through 8th grade. Both of them got pretty far in the preliminary rounds, and then Mila went on to the final round that was held in front of the whole school! 

It was hilarious because her first word was snowflake! How ironic! Unfortunately the word that she got out on she did not really hear her and was too nervous to ask for it to be repeated. Nonetheless we are super proud of her! It's also very cute because she definitely takes pride in her good spelling!

 

Daddy Daughter Dance

Love that Mila and Erik get to do this!!  I hope she'll continue to go through 8th grade!  The theme this year was a "Glow Party."  I got online and found her the perfect dress!  I also made her corsage with neon ribbon curls.  Erik said she had a blast dancing and running around with her friends!

Leila's Baptism

It was so special to celebrate Leila's Baptism! Baby girl did a great job and did not cry! She even had fun and splashed around in the baptismal font! What was most special to me, was that she wore the same gown that Mila wore for her baptism!
