Happy Halloween 👻🎃

We had such a fun Halloween!!  We have definitely created some fun traditions!  During the day, Erik, my Mom, and I went to see the kids in their school's annual Halloween costume parade.  Then I was lucky to be able to help out with Mila's class party!  I was in charge of the snack and bingo game!

After school, the kids had fun going through their loot!  We then went over to Lisa and Nick's house!  We love trick or treating with them!  The cousins get to be together, and their street is beautiful in the fall!  Every house has candy, and there's hardly anyone else that trick or treats!  And we really lucked out with perfect weather this year!!  After going up and down the block, the kids went through their second candy collection, and we all shared dinner together!

Caleb ~ Fall Soccer

So very proud of our boy!  He may not have scored any goals this season, but he tried his best!  That's all we can ask for!  He was excited for his end of the season medal, which doubled as a fidget spinner!  Way to go Elgin Park District!

Family Weekend in Indiana

We had so much fun visiting family in Noblesville!  We told the kids that we were going for the weekend, and that it would be like a vacation!  They were especially excited to meet Jack and Blair!  Caleb couldn't wait to share his love of dinosaurs with Matthew!  The kids all got along and played really well together!  Erik and I also had fun catching up with family too!

We walked around Purdue's campus on Saturday.  While it was really windy and cold, we still had fun!  The girls and kids came back to the house to watch the game, and the boys braved the cold at the game!

It was so nice to be able to spend time together and share several meals!

Happy 12th Birthday Reese and Bella

Reese and Bella are 12 years old!!  It doesn't seem possible!  We love our sweet puppy girls so much!  We call them our Grandma dogs!  They are so sweet and loyal.  They don't like to be home alone anymore.  They both whine whenever we have to leave!  They snuggle in our beds at night, Reese under the covers, Bella on top, but always next to each other!

Mila's Field Trip to Goebbert's 🎃

I am so grateful that I was chosen to be a chaperone for Mila's pumpkin field trip!  I live for this!!  I love being able to share these special memories with her and her classmates!  We decided that we were going to be twins, and wore matching shirts.  I love that she still likes to do that.  I know that will probably not last as she gets older!

I had a great group of kids, and even met some new classmates!  We got to see some of the farm animals, went on a hayride, picked out pumpkins, and got to see the crowd favorite pumpkin eating dinosaur!  It was a short field trip, but I'm still glad I got to go!
