Mila's Last Day of Preschool

Mila is a preschool graduate!  My baby will be a Kindergartener at the end of the summer!  It’s a little hard to believe!  Her teachers prepared a cute photo montage and had a little presentation with each students artwork portfolio.  Mila gave both of her teachers numerous hugs!  When we got in the car and started to drive away, Mila started to cry, and continued to cry for a half hour!  She said she was going to miss her teachers.  I thought I was going to be more emotional, but I know that we’ll still come back to Hosanna for special events and to see Scarlett and Nikko there! 

Sure enough, we went to pick up Scarlett the next day, and gave her teachers one more hug!  I’m so proud of how much Mila has grown this past year!  She became so much more confident and independent!  I told her teachers that I felt they played a part in that!  We will definitely miss Hosanna, but I know we’ll still go back to visit!

Hosanna Ice Cream Social

The end of the year Ice Cream Social is a fun tradition at Hosanna Preschool! We were a little sad knowing that this was our last official Ice Cream Social, however knowing that Scarlett and Nikko will still be there a few years, we know that we can crash it with them and still see all of our favorite preschool teachers!

Cougar's Game

Every Spring, Caleb’s school does a reading program, where he can earn a free ticket to a Cougars baseball game.  This is something special that we can do with Caleb, because Mila can’t go due to her peanut allergy.  However, Caleb surprised us by expressing his concern about Mila not being there!  A couple times he said how much he missed her, and that he hoped she was having fun with Babtcha and Dido.  He was super excited because his good friend Cole was there and we had great seats!  Unfortunately it was cloudy and freezing!  We stayed until the 5^th inning, and then all decided we had enough fun!

Caleb's Zoo Field Trip

I was so happy to be chosen as a chaperone for Caleb’s zoo field trip!  I had to take a day off work, but to me it is so important to be there!  Caleb was in my group with three other kids, and we had so much fun together running from one exhibit to the next!  Caleb was really cute and excited for me to be there!  He said he hopes I get to go on a field trip every year!  Me too buddy!

Happy Mother's Day

Erik, Caleb, and Mila made me a pancake breakfast and had some special presents they picked out for me.  This was the first year that the kids picked out gifts for me!  Erik said they had a lot of fun shopping with him.  I got two water bottles, a coffee mug, a wine glass, and four summery smelling candles!  Erik also got me a sticker for my car that says Mom Life ♥.  Then I got some beautiful cards and artwork from my babies, Erik, and the dogs. 

We visited with Nana and Pops in the afternoon, and ate some delicious brunch that Brynn made.  Then we went to Joy’s and spent some time outside in her backyard.  The kids had fun playing with Scarlett and Nikko.  Then we came home and enjoyed some deep dish pizza with my Mom and Dad.  It was a nice day!  I am forever grateful to my Mom, and absolutely love being a Mommy to my two babies!  They are my world!  Some moments are incredibly exhausting and frustrating, but then some moments are pure bliss!
