Welcome Leila Grace!!
Caleb is not the only family member born on his due date! Leila Grace gave her Mama a hard time, and after 36 long hours of labor, arrived via C-section on her due date of April 14th! The whole day was a wild and exciting ride! I had so much fun texting back and forth with everyone anticipating the arrival of my newest niece!! She is absolutely beautiful! Although, I’m not surprised! She was born was a full head of hair, just like her Mama and I were! I was so lucky to be able to meet her at the hospital! I’m so happy for my sissy and Jamie! They will be amazing parents!

Mila's 1st soccer tournament
Mila had a memorable 1st soccer tournament, with a Friday night game under the lights, and snow!! It was ridiculous!! The poor girl was freezing! Unfortunately they lost that game, but then went on to win the next 2 games! It was so fun meeting more of the parents and her teammates! Initially they thought they’d play in the championship game, but after some score calculations, realized that they came in 3rd place. I think Mila’s favorite part was getting her first tournament t-shirt! She even got to personalize it with her number!

Rosy lays some eggs!
We had a wild April Fool’s Day. Erik got home first and sent me a picture and text that said, “look what I found in Rosy’s tank?” He said it was an egg! I definitely thought he was playing a joke on us! Poor Caleb was worried because he thought something might be wrong with Rosy. Of course Uncle Nick was running away with the idea of baby lizards! We came home to find that it definitely was an egg! After some research, we discovered that bearded dragons can lay unfertilized eggs a couple of times a year! Caleb said it best when he said, “so it’s like a lizard period!” Over the next week, Rosy laid a total of 21 eggs! It was exciting and crazy! It made sense why she kept digging in her substrate and wasn’t eating very much!
