New Year's Eve

We had a fun New Year's Eve celebration at Lisa and Nick's! Natalie had come over with us and the cousins had fun running around together!  Lisa picked out crafts for them to do, and they felt special with a sparkling grape juice toast! We did some Netflix countdowns around 9:00, and even through confetti!  That was the excitement for the night, because then some of us passed out before midnight!

Christmas 2017

Natalie spent the night on Christmas Eve, so she got to celebrate Christmas morning with us! The kids had so much fun opening presents and playing with some new toys!  Then we spent time at Pops and Nana's house. We opened presents and stockings, and had a delicious roast for dinner!

Christmas Eve

We had a super fun Christmas Eve! I was so excited when we woke up because it was snowing!!  We would have a white Christmas after all!!

We started the morning at Grandma Joy's house for brunch and presents! Caleb got to be the first grandchild to carry on a family tradition! When Erik and his siblings were kids, they took turns dressing up in a Santa costume to pass out the presents. Caleb was chosen to do it this year! Nikko was a little unsure when Caleb had the beard on, but then when he saw it was Caleb, he had fun too! Then we shared a delicious breakfast together.

In the afternoon we attended Mass with my family at St Patrick's. After church, we came to our house and enjoyed a delicious Ukrainian Christmas Eve dinner. It was so nice to have Natalie with us! We have lots of holidays to make up for from when she was in Hawaii! After dinner we opened presents with my family. I love that not only do we have traditions on Christmas day, but we have special traditions on Christmas Eve as well!
