Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day! Erik and the kids made plans to build a fire pit in the backyard! I was so excited when I came home from work and saw that it actually happened! It was even more special that Nick and Lisa helped out and their kids were over for the first fire. Since we didn't have any marshmallows yet, we roasted Peeps!

On Saturday, Caleb and Mila made me breakfast in bed!  They made me toast with butter and honey and tea!  They're so cute!!

On Sunday morning, when I came downstairs, Caleb had Alexa all queued up to play Meghan Trainor's Mom song. That was such a fun moment, and something I will always remember!  I had lots of beautiful and special art work from Caleb and Mila.  Caleb drew a portrait of me, complete with my Alabama hoodie!  Mila wrote why she loves me!  Then we went to Joy's house for brunch!  All of the boys cooked us breakfast, and the kids had fun playing together. Then we headed back to our house, and Natalie and Jamie stopped by with their dogs. It was great to meet Mac. Reese and Bella did a great job with him!  Then we had Mom's favorite chili for dinner!

Christian's Baptism

We had lots of fun celebrating my cousin Markian's son, Christian's Baptism. Even though it's been some time since we got together, the kids hit it off immediately and had a great time together!

We had so much fun showering Gail and Matt! Baby Girl Grimmer is due in July, so we threw them a summer themed baby shower with pineapples and flamingos! We had so much fun planning this shower, because pineapples and flamingos seem to be very in this year! It was so much fine working together with family and seeing all of our ideas come together!  It was also so fun to be together with extended family that we don't see as often! We can't wait to meet our newest niece and cousin, and finally find out her name :)
