New Years Eve

We were excited to have big plans for New Year's Eve! We went to Lisa and Nick's house with their neighbors and had a glow in the dark party! It was so cool!  They switched out regular light bulbs for black lights and had lots of neon decorations! The kids had a blast running around with glow in the dark tattoos and paint. They are at such a fun age!  While they played, the adults were able to actually play a game together!

We all rested a little from 11:00 to 12:00 and watched the New York celebration. All of the kids made it to midnight and had lots of fun counting down!

Christmas at Lisa's

In the afternoon we went over to Lisa and Nick's house to celebrate Christmas with Pops and Nana. The kiddos had lots of fun opening their presents.  Caleb got a skateboard/scooter!  He's been asking for a skateboard for a while! Mila got more doll accessories and a scooter!  We got a foodsaver, and our favorite present was a cookbook that Pops and Nana had put together with family recipes!

A little while later Matt, Gail, and Iyla came over, and everyone had fun taking turns loving on her! It was fun to get to celebrate her 1st Christmas with them!

The kids had fun toasting with kid wine during dinner, and then we all got cozy to watch A Christmas Story!

Christmas Morning

I don't exactly know how to describe it, but Christmas morning this year was really great and magical 😊 We told the kids leading up to Christmas that we weren't going to have too many presents, but they did not seem disappointed. They were really patient as we got cinnamon rolls in the oven, and we slowly took turns opening presents. They were both really excited that Santa had brought them what they were hoping for!

After they opened presents, they got right to playing, and we watched some Christmas movies. It was really nice just to take it slow and enjoy being together as a family.
Mila made us a special ornament at school.  It has a ribbon inside that is as long as she is tall!  She was so excited to give it to us!
Caleb got a karate outfit for his buddy, Gabe.  Mila let him borrow the glasses so they could be twins.
He also got a new karate bag!
His own hatching dragon from Santa!
Santa brought Mila a bunk bed for her dolls!
Caleb started building a Brutus out of mini legos for Erik
Santa didn't forget about our puppy girls!
