This Thanksgiving was definitely a strange one. Erik and I were both dealing with Covid exposures at work and had to figure out how to get tested quickly. We ended up having to quarantine from each other and did not get to spend Thanksgiving with our families.
Mom, Natalie, and I made our Thanksgiving meal and packed it in to-go boxes for everyone. We got together at Natalie's house to exchange the food and took our masks off for a quick second to smile for some pictures.
Because of Covid, the football schedule was thrown off this year and Michigan and Ohio State did not even play on second Thanksgiving! Not that it mattered because we weren't able to get together anyways!
Even though it was not an ideal Thanksgiving, I am incredibly grateful that our Covid tests were negative and our families have remained healthy. Even though this year has been so strange and distanced from everyone, we have a lot to be thankful for. Erik started a new job at the end of October selling cars at Ford. He definitely likes it more than mortgages and is doing quite well!
For the most part, we have still been able to see our parents and siblings! The kids have been able to see their cousins, and we are very grateful for that!!
