Even though a lot of people were not able to get together with their families, we were still able to see everyone! Most of us have stayed home and are being smart with our masks and hand washing, so we felt comfortable getting together with our small group.
Christmas morning was relaxing with just the four of us. We made breakfast and took time opening our presents. The kids were pretty excited with what they got from us and Santa!
We then went to Lisa's house to celebrate Christmas with them and Pops and Nana. We lucked out to have the next day off from work, so it was fun to open gifts and relax after dinner!
As much fun as Christmas is, there's always a small part of me that is glad when it's over. Is that terrible? So much goes into making it magical, fun, and memorable, that I'm always exhausted at the end of it all!! Hopefully that's a good sign that I'm doing it right!
