Fun cousin day

We had such a fun day with Gram and Grandma Joy at 2 Toots and Banbury Fair!  The kids had fun feeding the bunnies and getting ice cream at the end!  It was definitely a summer highlight!

Mila's 1st Dance Recital

I am so proud of my baby girl! When we first started dance, I didn't know how she would get up on that stage without crying or running off! Then when we got the costume, she was very upset with how itchy was, and did not even want to keep it on! She has grown up so much in the past few months! When we tried on the costume the night before rehearsal, she actually loved it and wanted to stay in it! We got ready together with Scarlett for rehearsal and recital. The girls were both so excited! Mila did a great job with her performances! She had a big smile on her face the whole time, and told me she was not afraid at all to be up on stage! So proud of my little dancer!

Mila adored her class assistant, Mia!  Mia was an 8th grader at St. Patrick, and they even saw each other at school!

Caleb's soccer season

I am so proud of Caleb that he wanted to try soccer again this year. We got really lucky that he got put on a team with one of his classmates, Liam. It was even fun for Mila and me because we got to hang out with Liam's mom and sisters during games. Caleb did a much better job focusing on the game, and has improved since playing two years ago! He told me he had fun, which is the most important thing!

Mila Graduates Kindergarten

Mila's Kindergarten Graduation was so sweet and special. I cannot believe that she will be a first grader next year! I love what St Patrick's does for kindergarten graduation! Each child gets to walk in down the center aisle of church.  Then they all sang Somewhere Over the Rainbow, What a Wonderful World, and Bye Bye Butterfly. She had been practicing the entire week before, and did a great job! Then each child gets called up one by one to receive a little prayer card from their teacher. After the ceremony we went into the hall for a little reception and to collect her diploma and special paperwork. It was so fun to see her confidently running around with her friends.  She's grown up so much this past year!
