We Are So Thankful

Even though it's been a very difficult year, we have so much to be thankful and grateful for! Above all, we have each other!

On Thanksgiving Day, we were able to relax and enjoy time together! Leading up to Thanksgiving Day, Caleb had been sidelined with a fever and cough. It did not make for a very fun Thanksgiving break, but we were so grateful when his fever was gone on Thanksgiving morning! We had fun watching the parade and getting the turkey in the oven with Auntie Natalie. Babtcha and Dido came over, and we shared a delicious meal! After dinner we played Monopoly, and the kids played too!
On Saturday we had second Thanksgiving with Joy and Erik's family. This is something we've done for several years now, and it is just as special as Thanksgiving Day. We again had a lot of great food to share and had fun watching our favorite football teams.
On Sunday we went to lunch with Pops and Nana. It was fun to catch up with them and start talking about Christmas wish lists.

VFW Pasta Night

The weekend before Veterans Day is my Dad's VFW Post's annual spaghetti dinner.  This is the second year we've attended, and I'm so glad we get to share this with him!  Mom even got out of work early and was able to join us!

Neighbors that we grew up with also go to the annual dinner.  Sadly, this was the first year they attended without their Dad who just recently passed away.  I know that the VFW events will be different for my Dad without his friend.  I'm grateful that his family was still there, and that we got to spend some time together.

Little Gymnasts

Mila and Scarlett are giving another go at gymnastics, and they are loving it!  Mila is a cartwheeling maniac!  She must cartwheel at least 20 times a day!
